7 typical mistakes in calculation of eligible personnel costs in H2020
Personnel costs generally make up the majority of a project budget in Horizon 2020. Consequently, it is also the most common field for potential mistakes and errors.
How can I budget the cost for using an electronic microscope my institution provides to researchers against payment?
A new budget category was introduced to the H2020 Model Grant Agreement in October 2017: costs of internally invoiced goods and services (see Article 6.2.D.5), which covers goods and services provided by the beneficiary directly for the action and which the beneficiary values on the basis of its usual cost accounting practices, provided that they comply with specific eligibility conditions in addition to the general ones (see same Article).
To improve your dissemination and communication plan, consider teaming up with other H2020 projects in the same field and use each other’s network and outreach as multiplier. If your project already received funding, check the Common Dissemination Booster, a service recently launched by the European Commission for funded projects to maximise their dissemination efforts.
