A registration can be made via the internet (www.europamediatrainings.com) or by email (info@europamediatrainings.com). The registration is considered granted and legally binding if not rejected by Europa Media in writing within two (2) business days after receipt of the registration. The registration will be supplemented by a booking confirmation via email. Partial bookings are only valid for seminars designed in modules.
By submitting the registration form and clicking on the Checkout button, the Participant enters into a legally binding agreement and accepts a payment obligation, even if the participation fee has not yet been transferred.
The registration shall be considered valid and final upon submission. Consequently, the cancellation policy and all related terms apply from that point onward.
The contract will be registered, it will only be accepted in electronic form and it is not considered a written contract. The language of the contract is English.
Input data may be corrected by the User when filling out the registration form. Please check the content of the registration form thoroughly. The Service Provider hereby excludes any liability of any kind whatsoever for the User providing incorrect, incomplete, or false data. Following registration, data can be corrected under the ‘Account details’ tab within ‘My Profile’.
However, participation in the event and access to any related materials are granted only upon full payment of the training fee or upon formal confirmation from the Participant’s organisation (e.g., a statement from the finance department) that payment will be completed at a later date due to administrative or procedural reasons.
Europa Media Trainings reserves the right to deny participation in the absence of either actual payment or an acceptable written confirmation of the pending payment.
It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to inform Europa Media Trainings in a timely manner if they are unable to attend the event or if payment will be delayed for any reason.
Europa Media Trainings is under no obligation to follow up with the Participant regarding outstanding payments beyond the initial invoice, nor to reserve the Participant’s place in the training without full payment or formal confirmation of the forthcoming payment.
Failure to notify Europa Media Trainings may result in denial of participation without refund, in accordance with the cancellation policy.
3. PAYMENT
3.1 Payment methods and processes
Participants may choose between two payment options: card payment (via Revolut) or bank transfer.
Please note that if the transfer is not made through SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), additional bank fees may apply.
3.1.1 Card Payment (via Revolut)
In the case of card payment, the event fee is payable immediately. Upon receipt of the payment, the final invoice will be issued within eight (8) calendar days.
3.1.2 Bank Transfer
In the case of payment by bank transfer or based on an invoice request, Europa Media Trainings Ltd. will issue a pro forma invoice, which will be sent to the participant for review and final confirmation of the invoicing details.
The standard payment deadline is eight (8) calendar days from the date of issue of the pro forma invoice.
The pro forma invoice serves as the basis for issuing the final invoice.
The pro forma invoice serves as the basis for issuing the final invoice. Participants may request changes to the invoicing details within three (3) business days from the receipt of the pro forma invoice.
3.2 VAT Rules for Natural Persons
If you are registering as an individual and paying the fee on your own behalf (i.e., not representing a legal entity), you are considered a natural person, and in this case, 27% VAT is applicable.
3.3 VAT Rules for Organisations (Legal Entities or Delegated Participants)
If your organisation or company is delegating you and covering your participation fee, you are considered a legal entity (organisation). In this case, you are required to provide a valid EU VAT number of your organisation/company in order to apply the EU reverse charge rule.
If your organisation qualifies as VAT-exempt (for details visit our VAT EXEMPT page), you must provide official VAT exemption documentation in English to Europa Media Trainings for verification and application of the exemption.
3.4 Voucher Codes
Voucher codes are issued by Europa Media Trainings and provide participants with a fixed discount. These codes are not combinable with other offers, are valid for a limited time period, and may be restricted to certain products. Voucher codes can only be applied during the second step of the registration process. Once applied, the discount will be automatically deducted from the total amount.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
Given the nature of the services, the Participant may exercise their warranty rights in accordance with this cancellation policy.
4.1 Cancellation by the participant
The Participant has the right to cancel their participation (as defined in Sections 4.1.1, 4.1.2 and 4.1.3). Cancellation must be notified via email (info@europamediatrainings.com) prior to the event. The Participant is responsible for ensuring that Europa Media receives the cancellation notice.
4.1.1 Cancellation Based on the Right of Withdrawal for Natural Persons
In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, natural persons (i.e., individuals not acting on behalf of a business or legal entity) have the right to withdraw from the registration within fourteen (14) calendar days without providing any reason, provided that the service has not yet commenced.
To exercise this right, the Participant must notify Europa Media Trainings of the withdrawal in writing via email within the 14-day withdrawal period. If the Participant has expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period and the service has been partially or fully delivered, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply or may apply only partially even in the case of consumers. By accepting these terms, you explicitly request and agree that we begin providing our services immediately, before the 14-day cancellation period expires. Consequently, your right to cancel is replaced by a right to terminate the agreement (e.g., by deleting your account). Please note that under Govt. Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), once a service is fully performed or digital content is accessed, the right to withdraw or terminate is no longer available. In respect of digital data content not provided on data carriers, and services being fully provided, even users who could be considered consumers may not withdraw from or terminate the agreement because of the request or declaration above.
Participants not considered consumers do not have the right of cancellation specified in this Section 4.1.1.
4.1.2 Cancellation Without Rescheduling or Appointing a Replacement Participant
If a Participant cancels their registration without rescheduling or appointing a replacement participant, a cancellation fee will apply, based on the number of days prior to the event that the cancellation is received:
14 or more calendar days before the event: 15% of the training fee is charged as a non-refundable cancellation fee. The remaining 85% will be refunded.
6 to 13 calendar days before the event: 50% of the training fee will be refunded. The remaining 50% is charged as a cancellation fee.
5 or fewer calendar days before the event: 100% of the training fee is charged. No refund will be issued.
Since the registration creates a binding payment obligation, any outstanding cancellation fee (i.e., the portion of the training fee not yet paid) remains payable by the Participant. Europa Media Trainings reserves the right to issue an invoice for the remaining amount due.
4.1.3 Cancellation with Rescheduling or Replacement
If the Participant is unable to attend the event, they may:
Request to reschedule their participation to another training session organized by Europa Media Trainings. If the new training has a higher fee, the Participant must pay the difference. If the new training has a lower fee, the difference will be refunded.
Appoint a replacement participant to attend the training on their behalf. In this case, all registration details remain unchanged except for the participant’s name.
Europa Media Trainings reserves the right to not offer an alternative training date. In such cases, the cancellation will be subject to the conditions described in Section 4.1.2.
4.2 Cancellation by Europa Media Trainings
Europa Media Trainings reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness of the trainer or insufficient number of participants. Notification of the cancellation will be sent via email (info@europamediatrainings.com), and Europa Media Trainings is responsible for ensuring that the Participant receives this notification.
In case Europa Media Trainings cancels an event, Participants have the following options:
4.2.1 If an alternative date is available
a. The Participant may choose to attend the event on the rescheduled date.
b. The Participant may be transferred to another session of the same training offered at a later date.
c. The Participant may request a full refund of the training fee.
If the cancellation notice is provided more than thirty (30) calendar days in advance, the Participant will receive a full refund of the training fee, but travel and accommodation costs will not be reimbursed.
If the cancellation notice is given within thirty (30) calendar days before the event, all costs, including the training fee and reasonable travel and accommodation expenses, will be fully reimbursed, provided valid documentation is submitted.
4.2.2 If no alternative date is available
a. The Participant may be transferred to a future session of the same training.
b. The Participant may request a full refund of the training fee.
The same refund rules apply:
More than 30 days in advance: training fee refunded, but travel/accommodation costs are excluded.
30 days or fewer: full reimbursement of training fee and documented travel/accommodation costs.
4.3. Special Cancellation by Europa Media Trainings – Competitors
Europa Media Trainings reserves the right to reject any registration submitted by a market competitor, such as consultancy firms or other training providers operating in the same field. In such cases, Europa Media Trainings will inform the registered user in writing within two (2) business days following receipt of the registration.
4.4 Force Majeure
If Europa Media Trainings Ltd. cancels or reschedules the event due to circumstances beyond its control (including but not limited to war or threat of war, terrorism or threat of terrorism, natural disasters such as floods, fires, or earthquakes, explosions, epidemics, civil unrest, orders by local authorities, strikes, or accidents), the Participant is entitled to a full refund of the training fee.
However, the Participant shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any additional costs incurred in relation to the event, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
4.4.1 Rescheduling the Event or Participation in Case of Force Majeure
Where possible, Europa Media Trainings will offer an alternative date for the cancelled or rescheduled event. If the Participant is able to attend the rescheduled event, their registration will be transferred accordingly.
If the Participant is unable to attend on the proposed new date, they will be entitled to a full refund of the training fee. (See Section 4.2.1)
