PELLETS@LAS was an Intelligent Energy Europe project that promotes transparency on the European fuel pellets market. To facilitate pellet trade and remove market barriers, the project developed a public database to counter information gaps and also local supply bottlenecks, production surpluses, and quality assurances. The detailed market data should offer actors involved an opportunity to understand the market and further advance it.
