Communication Manager Trainee

Europa Media Geonardo Group (EMG) is on the hunt for a motivated Communication Trainee to join our amazing, incredible, and extremely humble Communication and Design Team! 

Join us to work on creative, international projects that make a difference! 
This is a 6-month, full-time, paid internship starting as soon as possible

 

About EMG 

 

We are a group of SMEs working on EU-funded research and innovation projects, along with training and capacity building in EU project development and management. Backed by over 25 years of hands-on experience, we mix practical EU project expertise with a strong reputation for delivering training courses across Europe. 

Your Mission (should you choose to accept it) 

You'll work alongside our Comms and Project Managers to support internal and external communication for EU-funded projects. Tasks include: 

  • Creating and scheduling content for social media, writing newsletters, blog posts, and video scripts 

  • Editing visuals and creating basic designs (Apologies to our fellow Designers. Canva lovers, this one’s for you!) 

  • Helping to develop content calendars 

  • Supporting project managers with research, data collection, and writing 

  • Assisting in the planning and rollout of communication strategies 

Bonus tasks, depending on your interest and capacity: 

  • Contribute to communication reports or project deliverables 

  • Help write project proposals for future EU funding 

  • Learn the magic of EU project management from our seasoned team 

 

What We’re Looking For 

 

  • Proactive, creative, and well-organised mindset 

  • Multitasking wizardry 🧙‍♀️ 

  • Social media and content creation experience 

  • An eye (and interest) for design and digital media 

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Familiarity with Canva or willingness to learn 

  • Confident with MS Office 

  • Based in Hungary with the legal right to work here (we cannot sponsor visas) 

   Extra sparkle if you have: 

  • Experience or interest in EU projects (especially Horizon Europe) 

  • Understanding of EU funding systems 

  • Additional language skills 

  • Fluency in memes and GIFs

  • Paid traineeship based on your skills and experience (500-900 EUR gross)

  • Full-time preferred, but part-time is negotiable
