Freelance Graphic Designer

We are looking for experienced graphic design freelancers based in the EU, who are open to long-term collaboration to support our in-house designer team. Since we need graphic designers who are proficient in everything from online and print materials to websites, at least 3 years of experience is required.

 

We need someone who can commit a minimum of 8 hours a week with the high potential for more depending on the work pipeline. Must be EU VAT registered and eligible to provide services and invoice as a contractor within the EU.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing online materials such as social media assets, ads, post visuals and templates, and presentations.
  • Editing raw technical documents into visually digestible reports, deliverables, factsheets, etc.
  • Design and prepare files for printing such as brochures, roll-ups, posters, merchandising products (pins, pens, notebooks)
  • Assist in UX/UI design creating wireframes, subpages, and landing pages for scientific projects.

 

We need someone who:

  • Has proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing brand design, online and offline materials, webdesign.
  • Who can maintain and implement existing brand identities across various touchpoints to ensure visual consistency.
  • Can take and apply feedback constructively while advocating for best practices in design and user experience.
  • Can commit a minimum of 8 hours a week with the potential for more depending on the work pipeline, which we would agree upon in advance.
  • Has proficiency and access to the Adobe Suite and Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret briefs, ask clarifying questions.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

An advantage: Experience with video editing and/or animation is a plus.

  • Availability: Minimum of 8 hours per week.
  • Duration: Potentially long-term partnership.
  • Workflow: Remote collaboration with our Lead Designer via email.
