The role
At EMG we work with a variety of private and public projects and clients. Your daily tasks will range from creating visual identities for our running and upcoming EU-funded projects, to online and offline material for events and external clients. You will be working closely together with many EMG teams, and especially with our senior graphic designer, our communication, IT and e-Learning team.
- This is a full-time position (part-time may be discussed)
- 1-year contract with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and discuss requirements with the team
- Ability to visualise text in a creative way
- Agree with the team on conceptualisations and design ideas
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas that meet the clients' ideas and amend designs after feedback
- Develop illustrations, logos and other offline and online designs using Adobe Creative Cloud
- Preparing printed materials and files
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand and high-quality
- Adapt to the internal organisation system to ensure that your work can easily be shared with the other team members
- Produce website design with FIGMA
- Work with communication, IT and e-learning team to produce a final design
Requirements
- +3 years of graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of web design and branding
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and even Canva – yes, sorry!).
- Web Design knowledge and being aware of UI and UX trends
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Degree and/or Master in Graphic / Web Design, Visual Communication or a related field is a plus
- Fluency in English language (both written and spoken: our team is international)
Nice to have

Video editing experience and some basic knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
