Last-minute changes before Horizon Europe proposal submission (April 2023)

Imagine that you are two weeks away from your proposal submission deadline – you have the consortium ready, the proposal is drafted, being pre-evaluated by now and then a partner drops out, another is telling you that they cannot make any compromise with the budget, and the third one is writing that the end-user they wanted to involve as an affiliated entity wants now to discuss different IPR arrangements.

Can everything be solved? This webinar is about some of the challenges you may face before your next deadline. We help you to manoeuvre and we give some tips on how to handle budget negotiations, issues coming from dissemination and communication, like IPR conflicts, last-minute partners coming in or signing letter of interests. It is good to see what can be still changed without risking a successful evaluation. Come and share the problems you have/had and we may help you to avoid or mitigate these next time (if that is even possible).

Gabriella submitted her first proposal under FP6 and she has seen a lot of these challenges. She will share a few nightmare stories and some other ones that seemed like a fairy tale, when writing a proposal. Along with these stories, Gabriella will also share tips on how not to overlook any arising issue before you press that “Submit” button.

Who is this webinar for?

Whether you have already written proposals under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe or you’re just getting started and it’s your first proposal, this webinar will help you navigate through some of the challenges of writing a proposal and gain hands-on tips to apply in your current and future proposals under Horizon Europe, and make sure you prevent any nightmare scenarios.
