Monitoring checklists and personnel cost calculation examples in Horizon Europe

Europa Media in Horizon Europe started a get it right webinar series. We implemented proposal writing and project management-related short, very practical webinars that focus on key things to remember. The series will be now extended with two 90+30-minute sessions on key financial issues. Budget monitoring and personnel cost calculation.

Whether you are a partner in the project or a coordinator, this webinar will not only help you understand the financial reporting checklist, but we will share with you several useful tips, tricks and good practices that will help you manage your finances. The webinar focuses on Cluster projects, so RIA, IA, and CSA actions in Pillar II.

The webinar consists of 2 parts, delivered in 2 days, online. Each day, the course starts at 11.00 AM CET, and the duration is 90+30 minutes each.

Session I. (15 November 2022)  – Budget Monitoring

The first part will focus on a checklist of financial matters related to budget development and mainly budget monitoring. The trainers will focus on the implementation of the project and spending the budget while referring to some key tips on budget development.

Session II. (16 November 2022) – Personnel cost reporting H2020 vs. Horizon Europe

The second session will go in-depth into the hourly rate calculation in H2020 and the daily rate calculation in Horizon Europe through a specific example. We will see the bottlenecks and unclear issues as the AGA is not final and audit guidelines are still just showing the coming soon message.

Why this webinar?

Because our experts trained financial auditors, consultants, and many accountants on finances. We have won seven Horizon Europe projects so far. Under Horizon 2020, we have  successfully been involved in over 30 projects, coordinating six of them.
