Financial Audits of Horizon 2020 Projects
|29 May||10:00 CEST||45+15 min|
Are you involved in one or more Horizon 2020 projects? Then you have chances to be audited by the European Commission with a view to verifying the eligibility of the costs you have claimed in your project(s). This 60-minute webinar will help you get prepared for an eventual EC financial audit.
We have 20 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects under the EU’s Research and Innovation Framework Programmes. Over these years, a selection of our projects has been audited by the Commission services under six audit procedures. During this webinar, we will provide you with practical tips and recommendations to help you:
- Avoid errors in the financial administration and reporting of your H2020 projects
- Learn about the typical mistakes and systematic errors in personnel costs leading to significant losses
- Understand the before, during and after of EC financial audits
- Get an insight to the on-site audit process and to managing it successfully
At the end of the webinar, you will understand better what to pay attention to in the financial management and reporting of your projects, avoid potential major errors and be prepared for EC financial audits.
