They say that good things come to those who wait – and this Summer is the moment we have all been waiting for: Horizon Europe work programmes and calls for proposals published! This will indeed keep our Summer busy – so on your marks, get set and spot your favorite topics, if you have not done so yet.
The Funding & Tenders Portal is not that empty anymore, and you can already find 400+ calls for proposals open for submission, from all three pillars of Horizon Europe. But for this time, let’s zoom in to the second pillar, Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness and its clusters.
To make it even easier for you to browse and find the topics more efficiently, we have filtered them by cluster. Here are the areas where you can already find open calls, with deadlines in the upcoming Autumn season.
The Health cluster comes with 20+ funding opportunities with deadlines in September-October. One of these open calls is meant to contribute to the Cancer Mission: Preparing UNCAN.eu, a European initiative to understand cancer. Check out all health cluster calls here.
If your expertise would be more suited for the Culture, creativity and inclusive society cluster, new calls for proposals are awaiting there too. Whether it is about governance in a post-pandemic world, migration, or cultural heritage, you can find all opportunities here.
30+ open calls are awaiting in the Civil Security for Society cluster, where issues ranging from cybersecurity to border security, terrorism and disinformation are tackled. Deadlines for these calls are in October-November, so do not miss out and check the open calls here.
Digital, Industry and Space comes with 80+ calls, already open for submission, dealing with industry resilience, climate neutral and digitized production, digital and emerging technologies, as well as space technologies, and a human-centered and ethical development of technologies. One of these calls will contribute to the Adaptation to climate change Mission: Better prepared regional and local authorities to adapt to climate change. Check them all out here.
