Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) can be a useful tool at the proposal stage if the partners consider that certain issues may need further regulating.

These issues may include clarifications on intellectual property, roles and responsibilities, budgetary provisions or specific management or operational structures. The MoU can set the basis for the Consortium Agreement if the proposal is selected.

Proposal development: What is the difference between risks and barriers?
Risks are those issues that can arise from our implementation of the project, whereas barriers are framework conditions that can halter our activities no matter what. Risks can be avoided or mitigated through internal procedures, stricter monitoring, creating back-up plans and options, while there is not much we can do about barriers besides acknowledging them and their potential influence on the project’s impact.

The first HSbooster.eu Open Call for EU projects will provide the opportunity for ongoing or completed H2020 and Horizon Europe projects to apply for practical guidance from standardisation experts.

All services are funded by the European Commission through the HSbooster.eu project, therefore at no cost for the project applying.

This first call will run from 21 June to 30 September 2022 and services will commence in September 2022.
