The dark side of lump sum proposals and projects (June 2023)

One of our lump sum proposals was recently rejected, so we decided to show you in this webinar, through the lens of an evaluator’s comments, the most important things to know about writing a lump sum proposal.

We expected to see many interesting evaluation comments in Section 3 regarding the lump sum breakdown, cost justification and work plan and unfortunately, this was the case.

During this webinar, we introduces the main features of lump sum projects and the key checkpoints of writing a lump sum proposal. As a bit of extra, we share some useful tips for a successful project launch: for example, what extra things to put in the Consortium Agreement or what internal protocols to follow to make sure everyone does their job in order to get the lump sum share for the completed Work Package.

This webinar covers:

  • Main features of lump sum funding;

  • How to define the lump sum in your proposal and lump sum budget table tips to define sufficient units for your costs;

  • Work Plan & Detailed Budget table vs. Evaluation comments;

  • How to manage your lump sum project - tips for a successful project launch.
