questions and answers Q&A from our participants
What is the difference between centralized and decentralized EU programmes?
Not much anymore. On average, centralized programmes have more administrative flexibility, and documentation and reporting happen electronically (e.g. Justice, Creative Europe, Erasmus+, LIFE). Whereas, depending on the country, some decentralized programmes may still require paper-based or CD/USB-based reporting (e.g. ESIF, INTERREG) and face more administrative obligations.
